Ashmarihara Kashaya is a polyherbal Ayurvedic medicine. Kashaya or kashayam is a medicinal decoction prepared from medicinal herbs. Ashmarihara Kashaya is useful in prevention and treatment of Ashmari. The literal meaning of Ashmarihara is one that removes stones.

Ayurveda refers kidney stones or urolithiasis as Ashmari. Stones are solid concretion or crystal aggregation formed in the kidneys and bladder from minerals. For preventing stone formation inside body

it is important to drink adequate water and eat appropriate foods such as whole rice,barley,kulthi,ginger. Kulti has been used to treat kidney stone in folk medicine in India.There are certain factors that increases risk of stone formation. Dosage of Ashmarihar Kashaya
10 – 20 ml, once or twice a day before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is usually given along with Shilajit tablet  /  Kshara Parpati  /  Yavakshara.
