Kottakkal Chitrakasavam - 450 ML

Kottakkal Ayurveda Chitrakasavam:

Chitrakasavam is a self generated alcoholic preparation. where the main ingredient is chitraka.

Its usage:

• In treating respiratory disorders.
• In gastric disorders.
• Also in Shwitra – leucoderma
• Kushta – skin diseases and anemia.

Dosage:

5-12ml with equal quantity of warm water twice daily. prefer milk during this treatment as chitrka is hot in nature or as directed by the physician.

Chitrakasavam Ingredients:

• Gomutra – cow urine
• Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica
• Vyosha – Trikatu – ginger, pepper and long pepper
• Kshaudra – honey

All these ingredients along with water is taken in a vessel smeared with ghee. Left for fermentation for 15 days, then the contents are filtered.

Usually distilled Cow urine is used in this medicine preparation.
