• Lakshadi Churnam is an Ayurvedic herbal powder medicine used in the treatment of nasal bleeding, heavy periods and other bleeding disorders.
• It is manufactured by Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal.

Uses of Lakshadi Choornam:

• It is used to treat haemoptysis, nasal bleeding and haemophilia. Also used in chest lesions – Urakshata.
• It is useful in heavy periods, short menstrual cycle, menstrual bleeding with clots etc.Roga karma- urakshata, raktapitta, abhigata.
• Dosha karma- kaphapittahara.Other karma- rakta sthambhaka.

Ingredients of Lakshadi Churnam:

• Laksha (Laccifer lacca)
• Lajjalu (Mimosa pudica)
• Dosage of Lakshadi Churnam:
• ½-1 tea spoon, 2-3 times daily, before or after food along with water, milk or honey. Or as directed by the physician.
