Zandu Kamdudha (Mauktikyukta)

Kamdudha Ras, as it is a rasa (mineral) preparation. It requires to be taken under doctor's advice only.

Usage:

1. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of Gastritis, diarrhea with blood discharge and diabetes.
2. It is used to treat female complaints such as leucorrhea, heavy menstrual bleeding.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Pitta.

For pitta imbalance it can be given with milk (preferably cow's).

For bleeding disorders, it is given with durva swarasa. In females with rice washed water.

Kamdudha Ras ingredients:

Amrutha Satwa (Giloya satva) – Water extract of Tinospora cordifolia – 40 grams

Svarna Gairika – Red ochre – purified  – 10 grams

Abhraka Bhasma – Silica Bhasma – 10 grams.

 this is kamadhuga plain, another preparation is with

mukta bhasma.

dosage:

125 mg – 1 – 2 tablets once or twice a day before or after food

Overdosage may cause side effects like tremors, dizziness etc.

Make sure to take this medicine only in the prescribed dose and for the prescribed period of time.
