Zandu Manikya Rasa

Manikya Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form.

Uses:

1. It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of skin diseases, gout, allergic skin conditions, dermatitis, fever, anemia, pruritis, hiccup, jaundice.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha.

dosage:

125  mg once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is advised along with cold water or milk.

Manikya Ras ingredients:

Shuddha Haratala – Purified and processed Orpiment (Arsenic tri sulphide) – 48 g

Shuddha Gandhaka – Herbal purified Sulphur – 48 g

12 g of each of

Manashila – Purified and processed Realgar (Arsenic di sulphide)

Shuddha Parada – Herbal purified Mercury

Naga Bhasma – Lead Calx

Tamra Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Copper

Abhraka Bhasma – Purified and processed Mica

Loha Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Iron

Vataksheera – Latex of Nyagrodha – Ficus bengalensis – quantity sufficient for grinding for

Kashaya of Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – quantity sufficient for grinding for three days
